Principal Reliability Engineer

Holistic Asset Management Pty Ltd (HolisticAM) is on the lookout for a Principal Reliability Engineer who is not only seeking a new career opportunity but is also driven by the challenge of contributing to the growth and success of a dynamic company.

As the Principal Reliability Engineer, you'll be the technical heartbeat and leadership core of our team, steering a group of up to 10 gifted Reliability Specialists. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating client projects, guaranteeing the delivery of top-notch solutions and services, and managing both the quality of work and the team’s utilisation. Your leadership will be key to nurturing our most valuable assets – our people and our clients. 

This role will also extend you beyond Engineering.  Reporting to the Director, you will be identifying new business development opportunities, setting mid-term goals, and be involved with projects and sales whilst fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. You'll be expected to work closely with the HolisticAM management team to turn these opportunities into reality, securing the company’s future in the process.

Your relationships will be varied, engaging with key clients and technical associations externally, and working closely with internal stakeholders from marketing to asset management specialists.  You will find yourself engaged in a variety of industries (such as mining and utilities) and projects incorporating asset management strategies, maintenance and operational readiness.  This is where your communication skills will shine, as you’ll be the bridge connecting different parts of our organisation and ensuring we operate in harmony.

• Oversee a talented team of Reliability Specialists, nurturing their growth, managing resources, and ensuring peak team performance.
• Take charge of client projects from conception to delivery, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Actively seek out and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with the management team to fuel our expansion.
• Engage and participate in executive decisions that drive HolisticAM success.
• Embody and promote our company values, ethics, and code of conduct, setting the benchmark for excellence.

Your Skills:

• Technical Experience: Your extensive knowledge of FMECA, Weibull and RCM techniques will underpin your experience.  
• Innovative Thought Leadership: Steer product and service development to meet and exceed customer demands.
• Time Management: Balance personal efficiency with team time management to keep projects on target.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships that aren’t just satisfactory, but exemplary.
• Business Development: Forge and nurture connections that result in growth and profitability.
