Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Provide a highly efficient, responsive support service for Clinical Systems, databases and platforms to Queensland Health customers through effective business and vendor liaison, investigation, diagnosis and remediation of system faults and failure to ensure service levels and quality standards are maintained to a very high standard
- Develop strong partnerships with project and business stakeholders and system vendors through the use of effective communication channels to enable on-going successful service delivery
- Supervise and develop staff within Digital Metro North Technical Application Management Services in the support of MNHHS Clinical Systems, databases and platforms
- Manage the Clinical Systems infrastructure and software ensuring compliance with the appropriate technical and security standards
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current and emerging ICT, database, infrastructure and integration technologies, in order to provide expert technical advice on their application and business benefits, and the development and implementation of solutions consistent with the agreed enterprise architecture
- Review complex system requirements, designs and implementation plans to ensure that the technology and security aspects are architecturally sound, and that they conform to the respective standards and guidelines.
