Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
Together with the requirements of the role description, our ideal candidate will have the ability to:
- Provide expert support in the installation, maintenance and support of non-enterprise hardware, peripherals, software and computer systems either in a standalone or networked environment.
- Provide detailed technical support by trouble-shooting non-enterprise hardware, software, telecommunications and other media problems or by offering advice and education to clients on how to use local equipment and systems operating within Metro North Health.
- Provide detailed and responsive customer focused support service to Metro North Health as a member of the ieMR Program working closely with the Technical Customer Support team within Digital Operations, Digital Metro North (DMN) and eHealth Queensland Digital Partnership Teams (DPT).
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Technical delivery - Demonstrated technical expertise in the configuration, deployment and commissioning of devices and peripherals in a high availability (preferably mission critical or healthcare) environment. Undertake tasks in a dynamic project environment including meeting deadlines, demonstrating commitment to client service, commitment to continuous learning, working with limited supervision.
- Technical knowledge & experience - Provide high level ICT technical expertise, support and administration in accordance with departmental standards, policies, procedures and ITIL processes, in order to extend and maintain the local ICT desktop operational environment and defined local desktop systems.
- Technical support & documentation - Expert skill and ability in providing local Information & Communication Technology (ICT) support to defined service levels and demonstrated written communication skills including the ability to prepare instructions, reports and system documentation.
