You will manage the day-to-day delivery of services by BHP's outsourced triage provider, including quality review, escalation, adherence to Service Level Agreements presentation of cases for allocation and coordination of communication with Reporters as part of the triage process.Your accountabilities include:1. - Training of outsourced triage personnel, including ensuring an understanding and familiarity with the triage manual.
- Principal stakeholder interface between BHP stakeholders (E&I, Assets & Functions) and the triage team for all case assessment related matters.
- Quality assurance of triage reports for accuracy.
- Monitoring of Service Level Agreement adherence by BHP's outsourced triage provider.
- Escalation of high-risk reports in accordance with the Triage Manual.
- Preparation of case summaries for review by the Case Assessment and Allocation Committee.
- Allocation of cases as directed by the Cases Assessment and Allocation Committee.
- Day to day supervision and management of the outsourced triage personnel.
- Manages the critical risk program for the organisational wide whistleblower risk, including the identification of opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Enhances application of the Triage Processes by applying BHP Operating System tools and practices to drive improvement.
- Responsible for the continuous improvement of the E&I Triage Process Manual and ensuring the procedures are communicated to and followed by BHP's outsourced provider.
- Leads innovation initiatives, driving a positive change within the Function.
- Experience assessing and triaging misconduct reports in a high-volume environment.
- Experience in undertaking investigations in an employment or regulatory context and the assessment of misconduct reports in a high-volume environment.
- Experience in leading teams in a corporate environment, with experience operating within or managing outsourced providers.
- Good understanding of legal, reputational and wellbeing risks associated with misconduct report assessment.
- Degree in law, investigations, employee relations or related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication (crisp, confident, clear, and succinct) with personnel at all levels (including senior management).
- Proactive self-starter: actively identifies issues and risks and develops appropriate solutions to appropriately manage.
