About the role
Right now we’re on the lookout for a Principal Wholesale Advisor to support our Wholesale gas and LPG trading team at our Murdoch Offices. You’ll be part of the Kleenheat business supporting our vision of providing energy for today’s customers and tomorrow’s opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
You’ll have an opportunity to work in a high impact environment and closely with senior management. If you have natural curiosity, a passion for commercial thinking and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role you will be:
- Leading analysis and modelling on Kleenheat’s LPG and NG portfolio.
- Identifying and progressing new wholesale business opportunities.
- Leading negotiations from strategy to contract execution.
- Performing natural gas trading operations.
- Assisting in portfolio and corporate planning, the delivery of monthly reports.
Please note, this role is required to work as part of the trading roster, including occasional weekend work.
WesCEF operates across multiple locations, with our two major hubs being in Kwinana and Murdoch. We’re excited to share that our Murdoch office will be relocating to Perth CBD in late 2025.
To excel in the role you’ll need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this opportunity means:
- Strong ability in modelling with Excel, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience with commercial decision making, exhibiting a strong sense of ownership and accountability with an ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Ability to lead negotiations and draft contracts reflecting agreed positions.
- Be open and engaging, and able to liaise effectively with others, both internal and external.
- Passionate about energy markets and business success, with a creative mind, and an ability to think outside of the box.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or experience in a financial/analytical/commercial role.
- Experience in the Western Australian energy markets is a plus, but not essential.
