Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor level education in a science field with a preference for Chemistry
- Position is ideally suited to recent graduate looking for industry experience.
- Forklift licence is desirable.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Working closely with the Chemistry and engineering team, develop a competent understanding of products and how the chemistry translates in the manufacturing environment
- Actively lead the manufacturing of liquid fertilisers in compliance with approved documentation
- Be the first point of contact for technical support, including trouble shooting
- Lead chemical awareness and safety in the manufacturing areas such as SDS and PPE compliance
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion on manufacturing documentation
- Lead investigation of product and process deviations
- Perform in-process tests on products
- Update and modify existing documentation in line with company requirements
