Your new role
We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Maintenance and Engineering Department. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency, reliability, and quality of our processes and equipment. You will also develop and manage projects from concept to commissioning, working with PLCs and SCADA (Citect) systems to monitor and optimise process performance. You will collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and operators to solve problems and implement solutions. You will also provide technical support and guidance to the production team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. You will also need ideally 5+ years of experience in heavy industry, mining, heavy manufacturing, or a similar environment. You will need strong skills and knowledge in Process Engineering, process improvement, continuous improvement, and project management. You will also need experience with PLCs and SCADA (Citect) systems. You will need a hybrid mindset that can work across electrical, mechanical, and process disciplines. You will need a proactive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude. You will also need a commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
