The Aurenne Group is a private company who acquired the historic Mt Ida - Bottle Creek gold field, 80 km west of Menzies in 2019.

Commissioned by GR Engineering Ltd in April and May 2023, the newly constructed Mt. Ida Gold Processing Plant is a 1.5m tpa CIL plant.
Its design allows for crushing to a fine grind size of 45 microns, maximizing gold recovery while also increasing plant throughput. Due to the site’s multiple pit nature, the plant is designed with flexibility in mind.
We are now seeking a Process Technician with at least 2 years’ experience to join our team. Gold Plant experience will be highly regarded.
The role will be offered on an 8/6/7/7 Lifestyle friendly FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie.
Your duties will include:
- Safe and efficient operation of all areas from the crusher to the tail's facilities.
- Trouble-shooting all mill/ leach/ CIP/ water services and elution processes.
- ROM Loading.
- Sampling and daily inspection of the plant as required.
- Identifying and managing risks to the processing plant.
- Monitoring of the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
- Initiate and participate in equipment handovers with Shift Supervisor and cross shift with other crew members.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
- Inspect and maintain work area daily.
To be successful you will need:
- Current unrestricted “C” Class WA Drivers Licence (Essential)
- Satisfactory NPC clearance (Essential)
- Valid work visa, permanent residency or Australian citizenship (Essential)
- Senior First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
- Loader qualification ( Desirable )
- Can do attitude
