Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.
Role Details:
Reporting to the Superintendent : Processing Production, you will be responsible for the coordination of the operation of the gold processing facilities and equipment. Manage, develop, and mentor the process teams to achieve budgeted production, meeting all quality standards including safety, cost and envrionment.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth. Flexibility around this roster initially will be required, details of which will be discussed with applicants who progress to the interview stage.

About the role:
Contribute to the ongoing effectiveness of the Processing Department by successfully coordinating the Processing Crews for the consistent achievement of budgeted production performance, including tonnes treated, gold produced and plant recovery;
Manage and oversee the operation of the treatment plant in accordance with task instructions and operational parameters to ensure efficient use of the department's assets;
Advance the Processing Department objectives through effective planning, management and monitoring of activities of production personnel and contractors, coordination of engineering and ensuring statutory compliance is maintained;
Develop, implement and monitor adherence to appropriate new procedures, processes and technology to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the processing assets;
Manage and oversee the activities of relevant Processing personnel, Service Departments & Contractors in carrying out the daily work plan and ensure that their activities are consistently aligned with meeting the operation's targets;
Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring for direct reports through effective use of the Performance Management Process to provide regular, constructive feedback on performance, improve individual development and capability and enhance employee engagement, productivity and job satisfaction.
About you:
Prior experience in a similar role at a Coordinator level
Extensive knowledge of a mineral processing plant, preferably gold
Tertiary qualification in mineral processing highly desirable
Knowledge of OHS legislative requirements high desirable
Active WA Drivers Licence
