An exciting opportunity for meat process workers/labourers currently exists at our Scone plant. The hourly rate is $23.58 as per the Scone Enterprise Agreement 2018. This is a 5-day operation with around 430 employees. Located about 283kms north of Sydney, 150kms north of Newcastle. JBS Scone is a well-known Meat Processing Facility.
We are seeking passionate, energetic individuals who are committed to safety, productivity and are after a long-term career in the meat industry.
Entry level responsibilities:
- Packing or sorting of meat
- Stacking cartons onto pallets
- Moving products
Possibility of upskilling:
- Knife work
- Bandsaw
- Operating of machinery / forklift driving
About you:
- Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced environment
- Willing to undergo Q Fever Vaccination, or have completed Q Fever Vaccination
- Reliable and punctual
- Must have full working rights
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Residing in the local area will be highly regarded
