About the Role
In your position Procurement and Administration officer, you will undertake day to day purchasing activities including raising and receipt of orders for replenishment of stock levels and supply. In your role you will provide expertise and assist with sourcing and managing procurement activities and arrangements to effectively meet the centre requirements and objectives. As an integral part of the team you will contribute to embedding Serco’s key operating principles across the multi-functional centre.
About You
You are ideally experienced as an Administrator with sound knowledge of procurement processes, policies and systems. You have a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and enjoy working collaboratively with others to achieve goals and objectives. You understand the importance of creating and maintaining a culturally sensitive environment including respecting the diversity of inmates, staff and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Have demonstrated experience as a procurement officer or related position. Experience in the use of SAP / SRM software packages or equivalent systems. Have previous experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyse problems and develop innovative solutions. Have exceptional attention to detail and the highest degree of personal integrity. Have well developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional centre in Australia.
