Reporting directly to the Manager, Procurement and Contracts, we have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Advisor to join our evolving team and really make a difference. This position will support all aspects of the procurement process (i.e. procurement assistance and advice, industry engagement, approach-to-market and evaluation and contracting) and be trusted with:
- Preparing end-to-end procurement activities including procurement planning; document and contract preparation; evaluation; supplier negotiation; supplier relationship; and contract management.
- Assisting Procurement BP's with advice on Contract Management, Supplier Relationship and Supplier Negotiations Matters.
- Developing the procurement capability across the Region by designing, sourcing, and delivering training.
- Analysing and researching contractual issues and provide sound solutions.
- Promoting best practice procurement processes, demonstrating a thorough working knowledge of procurement policies and legislation.
- Monitoring the team inboxes and ensuring tasks are dealt with in a timely accurate manner.
- Identifying process improvements, providing ad hoc procurement advice, and being responsive to continuous change.
This is a permanent full time role commencing in May 2024, based in Gasworks Plaza, Brisbane.
