Access theSome of your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage strategic (high value, high risk) procurement activities in partnership with internal stakeholders across multiple branches of TMR.
- Undertake end to end procurement activities including procurement planning, tender management, evaluation and supplier negotiation, contract documentation, supplier arrangements and contract management.
- Deliver value for money procurement outcomes through well managed strategic sourcing activities and contract negotiations with a focus on accountability, probity, consistency and transparency.
- Provide timely, professional and strategic procurement advice to clients and suppliers on procurement processes and practices as they relate to and are affected by legislation and TMR policies, procedures, delegations and guidelines.
- Provide professional and high level of customer service and responsiveness to internal and external clients while actively developing and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Develop strategies that deliver departmental and Government objectives and priorities and minimise risk, including the development of plans for significant procurement.
