Form of workMy client is a well respected service provider to the Education sector, focussing on providing key services specifically in Procurement of equipment and services to a large client base.
This role has become available due to the ongoing support and development of their team which has created the need for a new Procurement Analyst.
ROLE
The Procurement Analyst will report into the Director of the business, focussing on supporting end to end procurement activities and analytical support across a number of ongoing projects at any one time.
We require an individual who is organised and a problem solver by nature, with good analytical experience. You will need to be able to communicate clearly across project teams and be able to hit the ground running when you join.
Specifically, you will:
- Support and coordinate key project milestones with the team
- Developing and executing multiple end to end sourcing projects (with support)
- Analysis of commercial data include evaluations, market and supplier risk
- Responding to queries regarding projects with clients and suppliers
We are looking for an individual who are driven and capable of working in a team environment. This person is going to be partnering with clients, internal team and suppliers closely, so having excellent communication and coordination skills is paramount. This is a busy role, so you’ll need to be adaptable, able to multi-task and confident in working independently to succeed.
Specifically, we want:
- Experience in a Procurement role where you have been providing analytical support and supported on RFx events
- Experience in a Project driven environment
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel capability
- Ability to assess information from various sources and organise logically
- Good communication skills
