Our Client is a consultancy currently working with a Global technology business based in Melbourne. The client is currently going through a transformation across their procurement function and require support in mapping Business Processes.
ROLE
As the Business Analyst on this project, you will be working directly with the client to acquire information around Business Processes across a number of streams including procurement and commercial. The main focus of this role will be to understand, translate and accurately map Business Processes, then present them back to the client in a clear way for them to review.
Specifically, you will:
- Conduct analysis of existing Business Processes through workshops, meeting with stakeholders and documentation review.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and requirements.
- Develop detailed process maps and documentation that accurately capture current workflows and pain points.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes that drive efficiency and productivity.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with a focus on Business Process Mapping and improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and interpret information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Process Mapping tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
