AddressReporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this role will involve:
- Managing a strategic forward plan of export activity, container movement and planning - consolidating containers across a high volume of freight
- Coordinate and oversee export activities for a listed, global business
- High level stakeholder engagement and relationship building with suppliers to deliver quality outcomes for customers
- Contract management of export suppliers, ensuring a mutually beneficial commercial arrangement
- Acting as a go-to member of your team, assisting to grow and coach and impart your export knowledge to less experienced team members
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to support the digitisation and transformation of their Supply Chain into a world class function
Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role and deep level of subject knowledge in relation to export and international trade regulations and market dynamics
- Excellent communication skills and experience managing stakeholders within a global framework
- Vendor management experience, and a proven track record of establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships
- Excellent knowledge of export documentation, industry trends, challenges and pricing, effective negotiation skills to enhance outcomes
