Opportunity
Initial 12-month day rate contract with ongoing potential. Can be based in Melbourne, Geelong, Canberra, Brisbane, Parramatta offering hybrid working arrangements with flexibility to work from office and home. Large, nationally distributed Commonwealth Agency operating within the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.
Role
A leadership role at Executive Level 1 (EL1) reporting to EL2 Director of Procurement. This role will drive the implementation of a Procurement Capability Program to implement the outcomes and recommendations from a recent Procurement Training Needs Report. You will synthesize the data and reports finding and engage with a number of stakeholders to create engaging procurement training content for the Agency. You will also be responsible for procurement communications and notices. You’ll own and administer the Procurement Capability Questionnaire.
This role will suit an experienced Trainer and Communications Specialist with expertise in Commonwealth Procurement Rules or deep experience with Procurement Policy. Alternatively, a hands-on Procurement Specialist with strong project management, Procurement Capability uplift training planning, and procurement training delivery.
Requirements
- Strong program management and project management of an end-to-end capability uplift training program
- Experience delivering technical training to a nationally distributed workforce
- One of Certificate IV in Training, Project Management Certifications (eg Prince2, PMBOK, Agile SCRUM Master), or Certificate IV in Government (Procurement)
- Experience working within Commonwealth Procurement Rules and in a Federal Procurement, Corporate and Commercial team
- Ability to prove Australian Citizenship status
