The opportunityWe are seeking a Procurement and Contracts Supervisor to identify, implement and manage Victorian Government Procurement Board (VGPB) compliant procurement processes across ARV, and leverage the scale of the new entity to optimise purchasing and contracting efforts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing a cross-resort approach to procurement to achieve process efficiencies.
- Implementing procurement planning, training resort staff in processes they need to engage in and the developing policies and procedures to guide the process and reporting.
- Establishing a consistent approach to the contracts register aligned with procurement guidelines.
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?
- Degree/certificate IV in commerce, procurement, or related field and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
- Strong financial skills and demonstrated experience in procurement and/or contract management in a public sector/similar setting.
- Ability to interpret and apply Government policies to own work context and draft policies and business cases in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Able to source relevant data and critically analyse information and recommend action for application in resort management matters.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues by interpreting existing guidelines, analysing available ideas and developing an action plan for themselves or in consultation with others.
