Our client seeks a seasoned professional to undertake the role of Procurement Coordinator for a full-time permanent position within the Supply Chain team, where you will be tasked with sourcing top-tier, cost-efficient supplies while simultaneously cultivating collaborative and enduring relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate forecasts align with production needs
Manage and monitor inventory levels in a high-paced setting
Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers for effective collaboration
Enhance supplier performance to ensure consistent and sustainable productivity
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for goods and services
Advise and participate in contract negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiate favourable terms for materials
Source and obtain competitive pricing for products not covered by existing agreements
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualifications within Procurement, Supply Chain or relevant discipline
Procurement experience within FMCG manufacturing essential
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, systems, ERP and Excel
