We're expanding and on the lookout for a driven and proactive individual to step into a pivotal role immediately.
As part of our project team, you'll spearhead procurement, logistics, transport, and coordination efforts, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional quality across our diverse project portfolio.
Ideally, we're seeking candidates with recent hands-on experience in the Steel Fabrication/construction realm, primed to dive into action from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day procurement operations
- Generating purchase orders and coordinating deliveries
- Managing incoming and outgoing goods including loading, unloading, and storage
- Organise and manage all workshop consumables
- Manage the packaging and transport of finished goods
- Tracking project components with suppliers to uphold project timelines
- Liaising with Logistics and transport partners
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating workshop/project activities
- Maintaining QA and document control
- Supporting project management with daily tasks
- Other general duties as assigned
About You:
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the industry. Additionally, you should exhibit:
- Prior Australian industry experience in steel manufacturing, construction, or equivalent
- Experience in the loading and unloading of goods using a forklift (essential)
- Proficiency in procurement, planning, and coordination
- Excellent communication and planning abilities
- Exceptional organisational skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Positive attitude, integrity, and team spirit
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and NSSCS standards (an advantage)
- HR License (desirable)
