Procurement Delivery Lead

• 3 year contract + 2 x 12 month extensions

Our federal government client has been embarking on the largest ERP Transformation in the southern hemisphere.

As part of the next Tranche of work, they are seeking a Procurement Delivery Lead with specific domain experience translating complex customer requirements and constraints into high-performing, scalable enterprise ICT functional solution especially in large, complex organisations.

You will support the successful Commonwealth Solution Delivery outcomes across the ERP Program activities with a particular focus on balancing the quality of proposed functional solutions with ERP design principles, service quality, and systems management considerations.

You will have in depth SAP ERP Specialist knowledge, including organisation leadership / management skills to provide expert advice, direction and guidance including the current demonstrated ability to allow resolution of complex SAP Solution design issues. You will also have experience in the implementation of complex SAP S4HANA Procurement domain within a Commonwealth environment.

As the Procurement Delivery Lead, you will work across the ERP Program Tranches and Releases, with the following responsibilities:

• Maintain alignment of the detailed design to the release scope, delivery approach ensuring solution delivery governance and assurance leveraging ERP and SAP design experience enabling outcomes.
• Support Solution and Deputy Solution Delivery Lead to plan, manage and govern activities of the Delivery Partners ensuring alignment to ERP methodologies, tools and governance artefacts. Drive implementation SAP best practices supporting optimal outcomes against agreed deliverables, time, quality, cost and successful adoption of ERP.
• Work as part of the broader ERP Delivery Leadership to ensure program schedule and quality targets are met and overall outcomes are achieved. Support the definition of Tranche 3, including early and in phase scope, approach, plan, schedule, resources and GFX required to deliver capability outcomes.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience we are specifically seeking include:

• Extensive experience and demonstrated skills in complex related functional domain ICT ERP SAP transformation across the suite of SAP applications facilitating analysis of business requirements and an ability to convert business requirements into SAP system requirements for configuration by the vendor.
• Proven team leadership experience, preferable across a range of SAP Delivery Team lead roles such as Project Management, Functional Team Leadership
• Demonstrated deep understanding of SAP Best Practice business processes and optimised SAP solution design from an end user perspective as well understanding of best practice design and architecture that optimizes the end user experience
• Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills, including engagement and conflict management with the ability to think laterally and take the initiative to drive activities to completion.
