About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to shape the future direction of Information, Communications & Technology (ICT) Procurement for the TAC, in the newly created role of ICT Procurement Lead.
As the ICT Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for leading ICT procurement for the TAC, to achieve best value for money, in accordance with the TAC’s procurement framework and applicable Victorian Government procurement policies. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own team and apply innovative thinking and strategic procurement strategies to support business outcomes.
About the Team
This role will be a part of our Finance & Procurement branch within the Finance & Governance division, which is responsible for providing expert advice and support to the business regarding all aspects of ICT procurement, to deliver value for money, including; planning, sourcing, contract award and contract management.
You will report directly to the Director of Finance and Procurement, who will support you in developing your team, while also giving you the creative freedom to build this business capability.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will lead the design and execution of high value and complex ICT procurement activities, whilst ensuring the highest standards of ethics and probity are maintained throughout all procurement engagements.
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated technical expertise in complex procurement with specific experience delivering major ICT and strategic projects, including software and system integration procurement experience.
Demonstrated experience in actively managing, mentoring, coaching and supervising a team.
Proven stakeholder experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
