Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our newly established Digital Transformation Office. As we embark on this transformative journey, we are committed to enhancing our capabilities through automation and technology.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Project Services Manager, the Project Manager will play a pivotal role in steering and executing a variety of projects within our Digital Transformation Office. This position requires ensuring alignment with organisational goals, timely delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and achievement of defined objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the Digital Transformation Office.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and associated communication documents.
- Lead project execution, monitor progress, and report milestones and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Directly manage business analysis activities, including identifying and documenting project requirements, analysing and improving business processes, and implementing solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Conduct post-project reviews and generate recommendation reports to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.
Selection Criteria:
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status is essential (no sponsorship offered).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, along with professional certifications such as PMBOK, PMP, Prince2, etc.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing medium to large-scale transformation initiatives, preferably within complex healthcare organizations.
- Experience working independently as a Project Manager within a small team, demonstrating a hands-on approach.
- Previous experience in Business Analysis is highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with executive leadership.
