About the roleWe're on the search for a Group Estimating/Procurement/Scheduling manager with senior experience in Residential construction to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. The role is to manage and oversee our estimating and procurement across all new developments in the high rise and medium density residential sphere. This is a significant role which requires excellent negotiation skills with suppliers and sub-contractors.
Responsibilities- Manage every aspect of the supply chain for the residential construction space.
- Identify and report on obstacles to ideal efficiency.
- Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity
- Conduct and maintain live feasibility analysis over all supply chains measured against local market baselines
- Negotiate material and labor rates in line with management’s KPI requirements
- Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
- Provide guidance and further implement procurement strategies for building materials, fixtures, fittings and equipment in both local and global markets
- Develop and Maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships both locally and abroad.
- Continually source and expand the supply chain network
- Review and improve supplier and sub contractor supply agreements
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements
- Create operating systems to track movements of supplies and finished goods, to ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
- Provide ongoing support to construction team with efficient cost effective building solutions and products
- Identify cost savings in design and delivery methods
- Seek innovative suppliers and products on a continual basis
- Identify and reduce construction cost erosion in line with management’s KPI requirements
- Refine and improve the current process in relation to purchasing, reporting, purchase order systems, job tracking.
- Demonstrate previous Senior management experience within Procurement, Scheduling and estimating in the residential construction space.
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering working drawings, and specifications.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail.

- Proficient with Microsoft office and a keen understanding of construction software.
