The Role:
As the Procurement manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing procurement strategies while ensuring cost-effectiveness and risk mitigation.
Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies
- Managing procurement for key categories such as Construction & Infrastructure, Property Maintenance, and Corporate Services
- Involved in commercial negotiations to secure favorable contracts and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Proactively managing procurement and supply chain risks, communicating key risks to company leadership
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies
- Manage procurement for key categories such as Construction & Infrastructure, Property Maintenance, and Corporate Services
- Drive commercial negotiations to secure favorable contracts and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers while monitoring their performance
- Management of procurement and supply chain risk
- Stay updated with industry best practices and attend relevant seminars and courses
