The Opportunity
The KBR Land Domain Team is currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join our growing team in Melbourne.
The Procurement Officer's responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- The provision of advice and support to procurement planning while ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.
- Understanding of the content of the Defence Procurement Policy Manual (DPPM), and related guidance.
- The analysis of supply chain data and resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify courses of actions.
- The purchasing of products within Defence MILIS, ROMAN and related systems in accordance with the DPPM.
- Qualified and suitably experienced Procurement and / or Supply Chain Specialist.
- Awareness of Defence procurement policies, systems and processes.
- Working knowledge of Defence Tools such as MILIS and ROMAN.
- Experience raising, developing and reviewing procurement documentation.
- Australian Citizen with a current AGSVA security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
