About the role: The Procurement and Contracts Officer is supporting the Procurement Branch by providing corporate, Procurement and property services. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with business areas as a procurement partner to establish suitable methodologies, draft procurement documents, assess tenders, and negotiate contracts.
Oversee procurement reporting, verification, and financial transaction processing.
Develop and enforce Procurement and contract management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
Contribute to procurement planning efforts within the wider team and across the organization.
Provide specialized procurement advice, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and procurement policies for delivering value for money outcomes.
Offer timely advice to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams.
