Currently seeking nine (9) Procurement Officers to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.About the roleAs a Procurement Officer, you will provide level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information. In addition, your key duties are as follows:
- Provide procurement advice and support to the broader Agency.
- Deliver support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
- Assist with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
- Prepare a range of procurement related documentation.
- Draft correspondence and reports, including emails and letters.
- Enter, extract and manipulate data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
- Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements.
- Understanding of procurement processes
- Proven Federal, State, or Local Government experience
- Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems
- Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
- Ability to remain composed in a changing, fast paced environment
- Understanding or lived experience of disability is highly desirable
- 12-month temporary assignment
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- $55.24 per hour + super
