Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team at Restock. We are a longstanding company for consumables in the Food and Pharma manufacturing sectors, as well as Aged Care and Education facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will strategically plan, deliver and support procurement activities in partnership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve value for money and mutually beneficial outcomes for Restock. The Procurement Officer will develop strategies to meet those needs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare end to end procurement activities including procurement planning, sourcing new and existing products both locally and internationally, document and contract preparation, evaluations, supplier relationship and contract management
- Manage and oversee the organisation’s International shipments from order placement, vendor production, shipping through to freight forwarders in the most efficient way
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules
- Manage all orders effectively and efficiently and investigating alternative options as required.
- Review Sales forecasting requirements and update systems.
- Reporting non-conforming products/services.
- Manage inventory to ensure business KPIs are met.
- Maintaining and updating supplier and product specifications.
- Maintaining good supplier relations.
- Prepare cost comparison reports and recommendations.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate procurement records
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain management & Purchasing or a related field
- At least 3 years proven experience in procurement or supply chain management preferably in consumable items, locally and internationally.
- Experience in off-shore sourcing of products and dealing with suppliers
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Preferred experience on Netstock Management System.
