Job description

Procurement Specialist

North Sydney Council administers the North Sydney local government area on Sydney’s picturesque lower North Shore. Our 400 employees look after 77,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands and a bustling CBD.

The role 

The role is responsible for is responsible for ensuring the effective operational and business outcomes for procurement, purchasing and contract management requirements within the Council.

You will ensure Council is procuring goods and services effectively and efficiently to ensure we are able to deliver the best level of service possible to our community. Procurement compliance safeguards against legal and other risks, maintaining our community’s trust. Effective procurement fosters innovation and service reliability, crucial for meeting community needs.

Salary Range: $106,819 to $127,551 per annum + $1,000 pa Transport allowance + 11% superannuation
