Seeking an enthusiastic Procurement Support Officer to join a procurement team, starting ASAP
Your new company
A government organisation based South of Perth CBD, are seeking an enthusiastic individual to step into the role of a Procurement Support Officer. In this role you will be required to work full-time hours with flexible work arrangements offered, and will be paid on a competitive hourly rate. You will be engaged initially on a temporary engagement for 6-months plus possible extensions or opportunity for a direct contract.
Your new role
As the Procurement Support Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing contract support to the wider team, developing and managing low risk contract documentation
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers around contract matters
- Maintaining contract information and other procurement documentation on the database
- Supporting the wider procurement team with general administration tasks as required to support workflow
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a contract and / or Procurement Support position
- Excellent written communication skills with experience in dealing with technical procurement documentation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisation skills and confidence in working autonomously
