As the Produce Manager, your role involves Managing your Produce Department under the guidance of the Store Manager playing a crucial part in presenting the highest quality goods, providing excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, overseeing financial aspects, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards of your team.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in managing a Produce department
* The ability to train and develop staff
* Be positive, approachable and people focused
* Have the ability to meet deadlines
* Control department costs such as wastage, wages and other operational costs
* Understanding of local market and seasonal trends
* Understand food safety standards and hold a Food Handling Certificate
* Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
