Join an Australian-owned leading licensing company as their new Product Assistant. Our client started in the industry over 20 years ago, and now has a diverse range of hard goods, apparel and accessories across 50+ licenses.
As a Product Assistant, you'll facilitate smooth communication between our client, suppliers and licensors, ensuring products adhere to critical path timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of submissions and approvals for licensed merchandise.
- Maintain and update product development trackers
- Ensure timely uploading and maintenance of product images and data on the online portal.
- Prepare and send merchandise development samples for review by brand owners and retailers.
- Communicate licensor comments, revisions, and feedback to internal stakeholders effectively.
- Coordinate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including licensors, agencies, suppliers, and various internal departments.
- Manage tasks in AP21, including product setup, pricing, purchase orders, and production orders.
- Maintain website product images and descriptions, ensuring consistency.
- Handle PO attachments, including product specifications, shipping marks, and retailer-specific information, in coordination with procurement.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Merchandising, Business or other relevant field.
- 1-2 years of experience in development, marketing or brand management processes in product-driven business.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including Apparel 21, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
