Product Design Manager

There has never been a more exciting time to join The Golf Works as it continues to grow rapidly in a flourishing industry. As a key wholesale partner of Australia’s Biggest Golf Retailer, the Golf Works has just relocated to a larger facility in Dandenong South to facilitate its growth.

What you'll be doing:

You will be working with both our licensed brands and company owned brands and managing the lifecycle of our products.

For our company-owned brands, this will include Product Design for golf clubs, golf bags, golf buggies, shoes and a range of accessories.

For all of our brands, you'll be handling product launches, end of life programs and general ranging. You'll also be working closely with our International manufacturers to produce our products to the highest of standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure projects are produced on-time and to a high standard.
• Manage project budgets and costs effectively.
• Provide a clear plan to bring the product to life.
• Lead new product development and design initiatives.
• Maintain design guidelines for quality purposes.
• Ensure governance and quality management of all design.
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications and schedules.
• Regular online meetings with our International suppliers.
• Provide expert technical design knowledge and support to internal and external customers.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

• Strong golf equipment design skills and knowledge.
• Experience with golf Product Design and development.
• Ability to effectively manage products from start to finish to meet company objectives.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Office 365 Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Being an avid golfer will be an advantage.
