Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Analyse consumer behaviour and competitor strategies to inform design decisions.
- Develop innovative concept designs that align with the brand vision, strategy, and market needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and quality standards while staying within budget and timeline.
- Create detailed design specifications, illustrations, and prototypes to communicate concepts effectively.
- Refine designs through testing and feedback to ensure optimal functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with production teams to translate designs into high-quality finished products while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with company processes and industry standards.
- Present design ideas and project updates to stakeholders for input and approval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Designer or in a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative product designs and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Strong communication skills to present ideas and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- High attention to detail and a user-centric approach to design.
- Love of Dogs
