Product Developer

EMU Australia is seeking to appoint a Product Developer to join our production team.

This is a great opportunity to get in at ground level and increase your skills and responsibilities with a well-recognised brand. The workplace is fast-paced and exciting with seasonal products being developed by an in-house designer. 

We are now searching for our next team member, who will fit well with our workplace, who shares the same sense of fun, thinks ahead, is flexible, logical, problem solves and takes ownership of their responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include: 

• Drive new Product development
• Sourcing new suppliers/factories
• Preparing Specification sheets
• Manage product fittings & gradings
• Production Inspection
• Review of Australian production facility

To succeed in this position, you will possess the following skills: 

• A High level of understanding of how to turn initial design into finished product. 
• Proven experience in product fitting, footwear pattern making and construction. 
• A high level of attention to detail
• Available to travel overseas
• Experience in the footwear industry 
• Organised with an ability to effectively manage tasks and follow up
• Competent in Adobe creative Suite
