As the Product Development Chef, you will:
- Developing a diverse range of menus for different cuisines
- Keeping up with industry trends and creating new recipes for commercial manufacturing
- Process setting within a kitchen environment when implementing a new product
- Ability to reverse engineer menus and products
- Strong awareness on product costing and portioning
- Collaborating with other departments within the business on menu launch.
- Prepare and present concept sample to customer and conduct taste panel evaluation
- Working with R&D team to review and improve existing products and manufacturing procedures by applying culinary knowledge and experience into industry process
- Working closely with production team to convert bench top sample to large scale manufacturing
- Adhere to all GMP guidelines and work health and safety procedures
We are looking for people who have:
- Experience in hospitality management with various international cuisine experience
- Experience in project management, product management or marketing
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Developed leadership skills
- Ability to priority tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to analyse of balance financial requirements in customer and operation criteria.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to cater to a variety of audiences at all levels within the business
- Adaptable, self-motivated and proactive attitude, solution oriented and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent numeracy and computer literacy with intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
