Job Description:
As a Product Development Manager at Aspire Hospitality Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary experience across three of our current venues in Albany, Western Australia; Six Degrees, Venice Pizza Bar & Restaurant, and Chanya Thai. This role offers the flexibility of remote work for the right candidate, allowing you to bring your create ideas to life from anywhere in Australia.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to work from home for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with culinary teams at each venue to develop and refine food and beverage menus, ensuring they reflect the unique identity and flavor profile of each establishment.
- Lead the creation of innovative and enticing specials of the month, designed to captivate customers, drive sales and set us about from other venues in Albany.
- Spearhead menu and drink development initiatives, leveraging your creativity and market insights to introduce new and exciting offerings that resonate with our target audience.
- Work closely with our central management team on suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients and products.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop engaging and effective promotional campaigns to showcase new menu items and drive customer engagement.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise product offerings based on customer feedback, sales performance, and market trends driving continuous improvement and innovation in our culinary offerings.
Applicant Criteria:
- Proven extensive experience in menu development and product innovation within the hospitality industry.
- While highly regarded, not essential; a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Food Science or a related field.
- A passion for food and beverage innovation
- Exceptional creatively and the ability to translate culinary concepts into tangible menu items.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and drive results.
