Product Development Manager - 18 Month Contract - Snacks and Chips

Key Responsibilities:
Innovate for Future Growth:

• Develop and manage new product, process, and packaging briefs, ensuring successful implementation into operational sites.
• Create and trial new food concepts, contributing to the feasibility assessment.
• Broaden technical knowledge across various aspects of Product Development, including Process, Packaging, Quality Systems, Regulatory Affairs, and Nutrition.

Manage Product Development:

• Oversee all Product Development activities for nominated projects from concept to launch.
• Drive changes to existing products, including flavor innovations and packaging refresh.
• Create and manage product specifications, raw material specifications, and document processes.
• Lead packaging briefs, artwork approvals, and collaborate with suppliers.

Project Management and Leadership:

• Champion projects internally through cross-functional team processes.
• Manage project resourcing, working closely with the Marketing Operations Manager.
• Effectively engage with customers and internal teams, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
• Lead and inspire a small team of Product Development professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Technology OR Food Science & Nutrition.
• 5-7 years of experience in Product Development, quality, or continuous improvement roles.
• Previous FMCG experience is desirable.
