Herbs of Gold provides a premium range of practitioner-formulated herbal and nutritional supplements. We are looking for a naturopath to join us full time as a Technical and Product Development Associate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to Product Development and maintaining the technical database. Additionally, the role includes assisting product formulation, compiling evidence to support product claims, writing articles and technical information, creating educational and training content and providing naturopathic advice to consumers and stores.
New Product Development
- Contribute to new Product Developmentand Product reformulations, both in Australia and for export markets, managing projects from concept through to launch
- Research ingredients and dosages
- Liaise with raw material suppliers and manufacturers
- Create and update product market comparisons and competitor watch
- Review existing product range and evaluate changes
- Maintain change control across departments
Technical, education and marketing support
- Maintain technical database
- Maintain allergen information
- Respond to product enquiries on the phone, email and live chat
- Write articles and Product technical sheets
- Create innovative, high-quality educational resources for a variety of audiences
- Assess education and marketing materials for compliance
- Assist with managing online training platform
TGA/FSANZ evidence and indication requirements
- Understand and interpret TGA evidence guidelines and FSANZ legislation
- Create evidence packages for product indication substantiation
- Build and maintain evidence database
- Provide support for S31 and P2C relating to evidence and indications
- Understand and implement TGO92 labelling orders
Pharmacovigilance
- Record adverse reactions and lack of efficacy reports
- Maintain adverse reaction database
- Review adverse reactions and Product safety
To be successful, it is essential you have
- Tertiary qualification(s) in naturopathy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to write at a consumer level and in a scientific manner
- Good customer service skills
- Good time management and organisational skills and an ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Basic computer skills – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Desirable:
• Regulatory experience in complementary medicine
• Retail experience in health food or pharmacy
