Our Group Enablement Teams are the Technology, Business Enablement, Value Chain and Replenishment experts developing new capabilities and platforms for a better retail future. We're the crucial link between our stores and the stock they need, the IT engine moving our business forward, the strategic connectors streamlining the way we work, and the forward thinkers using tech to transform the retail experience. Uniting cutting edge technology, data and retail smarts, you'll work behind the scenes, in the margins and across every corner of the business - to uplift our capability, amplify our collective impacts and revolutionise the customer experience.

What you will do:

Reporting to the Product manager, you'll work hand in hand with WFM business team as well as various technical teams such as DevOps, Solution Architecture and QA. You'll be supporting a large business led technology transformation initiatives across all business units such as Supermarkets, Metro, NZ, BigW and Primary Connect.

• Building of WFM Product strategy, product backlog, rollout plan and the decommissioning plan for the old product in conjunction with product manager

• Working in close collaboration with the business stakeholders, technology partners, product vendors and various other stakeholders within people systems and other domains within the Group Tech (Cyber, Privacy, Integration, etc) for successful delivery and operational excellence

• Assisting with the review of project requirements as well as the project transition plan including service level agreements, support strategy and support model in making sure the business expectation can be achieved

• Management of the BAU priorities including the prioritisation and scoping of fortnightly sprint cycles, covers all changes needed, including problems, enhancements, and project requirements (as agreed), with the prioritisation meeting the overarching business goals.

• Contributes to planning, executing and reviewing each sprint. Can set Sprint objectives with DevOps, while facilitating and navigating the organisation to maximise the opportunity for a successful outcome.

• Technical leadership and decision-making accountability in WFM Systems

• Ensure fit-for-purpose system testing and user acceptance tests are conducted on sprint deliverables, to ensure product quality.

What you'll bring

• Ability to grasp technical complexity, end to end solution capability, cross-team and cross domain collaboration, and strong business process knowledge.

• Confidence to take ownership of the task, accountability for the result, and responsibility along the way.

• Sound IT Service Management experience across the end-to-end service lifecycle, most importantly strategy, design, build and deploy.

• Deep understanding of IT processes, ideally for Workforce Management.

• Previous experience working with WFM products such as UKG*Pro WFM or UKG Workforce Central or a large ERP would be highly desirable
