Dabble is an online sports and racing bookmaker (licensed by the NTRC), formed in 2020 and embracing the scaleup journey. Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dabble’s product across Sportsbook and Fantasy Sports apps. You will be a customer centric individual who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences within a fun and exciting product. You will facilitate ideation & research, prioritisation, development and delivery of features across a range of portfolios. You will work cross-functionally with Technology and other business functions which require clear and consistent communication. The role is required to work across projects that are both customer facing and support Dabble’s backend operations.

Primary Location

This role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne or Brisbane may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead product development from ideation to delivery across various Dabble Products
• Prioritise initiatives across Portfolio’s in line with Dabble’s Product Strategy, with a focus on differentiation, customer-oriented, and time-based prioritisation.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional working groups to generate and gather requirements and design for initiatives. Ensure these requirements are accurately detailed and documented for development.
• Effectively engage and manager stakeholder relationship and expectations on product development.
• Work in collaboration with UI/UX Designers to bring initiatives and customer journeys to life.
• Manage product delivery within cross-functional delivery teams in line with Dabble’s software delivery process, including but not limited to:
• Sprint kickoffs & rhythm meetings to track progress.
• Break initiatives into technical requirements for delivery.
• Backlog grooming of initiatives, ad-hoc improvements and bugs, ensuring work is well written, clear and up to date.
• Provide domain expertise and product support throughout development.
• User acceptance testing of initiatives.
• Track product usage across your remit of products, working closely with the Voice of The Customer Function to integrate feedback into product.

• Contribute to regular (monthly & quarterly) updates on the status of plans, development, and released products.

Skills & Qualifications

• Commercial experience as part of a digital project team
• Commercial experience writing requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring tickets are always up-to-date
• Commercial experience working with a formal project management methodology
• Experience working with and integrating third party feed providers, e.g. odds or stat providers (preferred)
• Experience undertaking analysis of product performance and reporting results to stakeholders
• Experience working on a day to day basis with developers to ensure requirements are understood and product is delivered to spec
• Ability to analyse large datasets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
• A strong interest in a broad range of racing, sport and betting (preferred)

Remuneration

The advertised salary for this position is $130, 000 - $160, 000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
