The Digital Business Division has been established to develop and deliver the vision and strategy for agricultural exports, and to coordinate the range of the export business and digital reform programs that are currently underway. At the heart of this reform package is the modernisation of export systems by building Digital Services to Take Farmers to Markets.
The Digital Clearance Service Branch is focused on modernising and sustaining our digital export services by future proofing current and emerging systems.
The Job
The NEXDOC Certification Team develops export documentation and manages over 100 export certificates in the NEXDOC production system. The Product Manager of the NEXDOC Certification Team is responsible for:
- the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) system including system contract renewals
- managing the work and resources associated with the design, delivery and management of export certificates and associated documents within the NEXDOC system
- working collaboratively across multiple internal stakeholders to create the product vision and set priorities
- managing certification and document requests in line with importing country requirements and program updates
- leading an established multi-disciplinary team of both APS staff and contractors to deliver a product that meets end users’ needs
- collaborating across the export program areas to deliver benefits for exporters and the department.
Knowledge and experience
- An understanding of export processes as they relate to agricultural products.
- An understanding of and experience with Extensible Markup Language (XML).
- Experience in establishing and cultivating productive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- An existing understanding, experience in or knowledge of the Product Manager role (highly desirable).
- Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams within a high-pressure environment (highly desirable).
