Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA) is a subsidiary of Topcon Positioning Systems Inc. (TPS). TPA develops and manufactures leading-edge satellite positioning and guidance systems, electronic controls, mapping, monitoring, and land leveling solutions for agriculture.
The role will involve gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with the Product Manager, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.
This role will entail working with embedded Software, Cloud Platform and Hardware components while taking a systematic approach to the overall solution delivery.
- Own product specifications, requirements
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure quality product output, timeliness, and market requirements
- Analyse growth rate, market penetration and competitive analysis for the products
- Propose product strategy changes as a result of competitive changes in the marketplace
- Create and deliver product collateral for Support teams and field sales
- Customer feedback/interviews (Voice of Customer)
- New Product Installations and Training
- Support New Product Introduction for Global markets
- ROI Analysis on product portfolio
- Responding to Technical product queries
- Go-to-market Planning
- Liaison with 3rd party customers for integrated solutions
Skills & Experience:
- Agriculture field experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales, support, testing or similar role within Agriculture (preferred)
- Experience with Jira/Confluence for data Input (optional)
- Degree in Science / Engineering (optional)
- Product Management Certification (preferred)
