A little bit about the role
As the Product Manager, you are responsible for assisting the monitoring and reporting of Deposit product performance and assisting with the management of our Savings and Term Deposit product portfolio at Great Southern Bank.
Located in either Brisbane or Sydney, reporting to a Senior Product Manager, you proactively, monitor product performance, resolve issues, contribute to product development and maintenance, and support stakeholders as required.
- Monitoring and reporting product performance across the Deposits portfolio, including financial performance, competitor insights, customer and risk metrics.
- Preparing the monthly forecasts for retail funding, working closely with Finance and Treasury through the process .
- Managing the portfolio pricing strategy, including preparation of pricing recommendation papers as necessary, and implementation of pricing changes.
- Manage back book engagement of the portfolio to meet retention and run off objectives.
- Review existing products and implement changes to the products and deliver enhancements to ensure optimal value to customers and GSB including pricing.
- Assist in the definition, development and deployment of new products and significant product enhancements, and contribute to the design, implementation, and regular review of our New Product Development process.
- Support the construction and approval of robust business cases for new and existing product opportunities.
- Experience in a Product Management or similar role, including forecasting and product pricing, with a keen understanding of competitor and market influences.
- You have demonstrated your ability to research and analyse data and interpret and analyse business reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels and across different audiences.
- Highly numerate, strong prioritisation and organisational skills, and a demonstrated ability to understand complex data sets.
- High proficiency in MS Office, JIRA and exposure to project management is highly desired.
- Finally, you excel at problem-solving qualitative and quantitative challenges, and you can effectively work on multiple projects in parallel.
