We're on a roll and looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. While our main HQ is in sunny Brisbane, we also offer opportunities to work from home.
About the role:
This isn't just a job; it's your chance to thrive in an industry-leading company known for delivering exceptional results. Reporting to the Head of Brand, you'll oversee the development, market share expansion, and profitability of designated product categories.
Your day may include:
- Category Management: You'll manage a portfolio of categories, contributing to the overall market strategy and driving growth by identifying opportunities in new products, brands, markets, and suppliers.
- Competitor & Market Analysis: Dive deep into competitor and market pricing analyses, using insights to inform strategic decisions and understand market trends.
- Sales and Promotions: You'll lead marketing and promotional initiatives within your category, aligning with brand image and supplier requirements.
- Business Negotiations & Partnerships: Participate in negotiating new business and nurturing partnerships with new and existing suppliers to fuel growth.
- Range Reviews & Visual Merchandising: Assist with range reviews, product presentations, and visual merchandising to elevate the customer experience.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations for your categories, tracking performance against key metrics and budget, and reporting results.
Our ideal new addition will have:
- Demonstrated marketing business experience (minimum 4 years), developing and implementing brand strategies
- The ability to interpret and maximise the use of market research data
- Home improvement industry experience is a plus
- Experience in planning and managing projects
- Collaboration-oriented with the ability to drive results
- Demonstrated financial management/reporting and analytical skills
- Exceptional rapport building and negotiation skills
- Customer focused
- Creativity and the ability to think outside of the box
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business management or marketing, or equivalent
