We are looking for a Product Owner to join our high-performing team, in a full-time role. This position is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere within Australia.
Your new role
The Product Owner is a critical role in our Agile development team. You will need to work closely with the development team to ensure the product is being built to meet customer needs, providing feedback on prototypes and demos.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Make informed decisions about what features to prioritize for development and provide guidance on trade-offs between different features.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the product is being built according to requirements and timelines using agile practices.
- Create and maintain product support and release materials that enable effective implementation of Resolve’s products.
- Contribute to the development of product vision, strategy, and roadmaps; ensuring they remain suited to our business needs and priorities.
- Work across teams to define and clarify requirements, develop UX stories, develop implementation plans, and ensure a quality product is taken to market.
- Communicate product features, concepts, and requirements clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders, partners, and target markets.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to keep them informed of product progress, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile development environment with a proven track record of successfully delivering quality products/features to meet requirements and timeframes.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and the role of the Product Owner within an Agile team and the software development lifecycle (Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Programming would be an advantage).
- Experience with product management tools, such as Jira and Azure DevOps, etc.
- Scrum master experience is desirable
- Ability to quickly and effectively prioritise actions that cater for internal and external products under changing commercial conditions.
- Highly organised with the ability to deal with multiple projects, stringent timelines and changing priorities effectively and efficiently.
- Self-starter able to work well autonomously and with internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes on a monthly and quarterly basis.
