QBuild is a vital part of Queensland's $50 billion building and construction industry which employs 235,000 Queenslanders.
As the Queensland Government's builder, QBuild plays an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
With almost 1,400 staff and a network that includes 20 offices and 34 depots across the state, QBuild is well positioned to deliver construction and maintenance services to communities including those in regional and remote areas.

Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and maintain positive and constructive stakeholder relationships that allow for negotiation of timeframes, management of expectations, engagement in the program and timely resolution of issues.
* Define and prioritise the work of the Program, aligning with the Program's vision, Focusing Question and Definition-of-Done
* Manage and prioritise a product backlog for one or more delivery teams.
* Determine acceptability of solutions on behalf of the business, through liaising with relevant stakeholders and knowledge of governance processes.
* Liaise with Stream Leads and Project Managers to ensure appropriate risk management, problem resolution and escalation as required.
* Review, analyse and endorse Program documentation for progression to Executive Leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
* Strategically lead a collaborative, performance-focussed team of subject matter experts in a responsive and effective manner, to minimise disruptions and meet agreed performance targets.
