One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Product Owner to join their Identity Management Systems team to drive the implementation of modern Product Ownership principles. You will also engage with business stakeholders to provide input into the strategic vision and execution of product roadmaps that align with program objectives. The role will be based out of their Canberra office with flexible working arrangements available. The successful Product Owner will be offered a contract until June 2025 with a 12 month extension option.
The successfulProduct Owner will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Conducting research, competitive analysis and user studies to identify opportunities for product enhancement
- Contributing to the program backlog though user stories and testable acceptance criteria’s
- Overseeing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to working software
- Looking at product mock ups and process flow diagrams to support features and user stories
The successful Product Owner will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in driving Product Ownership practices
- Strong understanding of Product Ownerships frameworks including Agile, Scrum and Lean
- Experience implementing or improving Product Ownership practices within complex IT environments
- Ability to navigate and manage conflicting priorities among stakeholders
