As the SDLC Product Owner, you will operate at the vanguard of the bank's DevSecOps transformation as you modernise and automate the SDLC. You will own both the SDLC Framework and the supporting technology platforms that underpin the standard SDLC and the new Incremental Pathway. You will lead engineers and business analysts daily as you navigate the group's control landscape and risk appetite with the ultimate goal of speeding up the work of thousands of engineers.
We support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in office. We’re interested in hearing from people who
Work closely with engineers and crew leads to translate product vision, strategy and roadmap into actionable tasks and be responsible for delivery outcomes
Are a key point of contact with Business Stakeholders and other internal product teams to continually deliver value from the product and drive towards our strategic ambition
Work with the team to define problems into user stories and solutions into business value
Can participate in research and evaluate data to inform decision making embedding continuous learning and improvement
Work collaboratively with engineers, other product teams and Business Stakeholders to prioritize the backlog for the product that continuously delivers measurable value enabling the achievement of the business results
Can contribute to the all stages of the product process including problem/solution definition, design, prototyping, delivery and optimisation
Tech skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
Understanding of AWS cloud landscape
Certification like AWS Cloud Practitioner, Certified Product Owner, Service Design, Human Centre design, ITIL V3, Scrum, PMP, CCNP.
An interest in technical product challenges
An obsession of solving customer problems, you love actively seeking out customers to understand their problems
A curious mindset that drives you to ask and answer the ‘why’
Experience with iterative (agile) and/or lean design and development
